“A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste,”

“A mind is a terrible thing to waste.” is a statement used to promote the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).  The marketing “plug” became popular as it was used to encourage investing in college funds and scholarships giving financial aid for college students.  It also encouraged students to continue learning and prepare for successful careers by attending college.  A mind that is not trained and developed is a waste.   Personal development can bring success and value just as a formal education degree program.

Ray Higdon’s “Invest, Learn, and Teach” plan is a proven process for success in the world we live in. It really is an education system with success as the reward.    Applying the plan to businesses driven by Networking, Marketing and Sales, those who are the most successful put it to practice.  Coaching is a learning tool used for investing in your personal development.   Coaching puts the teaching and learning steps in place and also opens a door to accountability.  Ask me how I know this?  I know because accountability coaching is a driving force for my commitment to take action.  My focus this week is on a goal of connecting with five prospect whom I don’t know, to spark an interest in reaching personal goals and development.

I have another goal for the week, and that is of planning and starting my daily routine.  That will involve adding content to my blog and doing videos, reading and listening to trainings.  A consistent daily routine that allows specific time for adding content, personal development, presenting my business and follow ups will guide me to a more disciplined lifestyle.

Continued excitement, fellowship, offering and suggesting products will bring me to prospects and a growing customer base.   With confidence in the success practices gained from my personal development I will continue to share in my quest to” Invest, Learn,  and Teach.”
