Welcome to my study of “The Power of Discipline”

I am excited as I began a new journey.  I extend an invitation to join me here as I begin a study for the purpose of transforming myself becoming stronger and healthier in mind body and spirit.  To began the process,  I will be reading again to use as a guide Brian Tracy’s “The Power of Discipline.”  In the book, Tracy shares on seven areas of discipline that when we can harness and have self control will make a change, create success, accomplish more and live happier lives.

Your comments and thoughts are welcome. In a conversation with Kop Kopmeyer, Kopmeyer said that Thomas Huxley stated the most important success principle of all.  That being, “Do what you should do, when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not.”  Having read and experienced 999 other success principles, Kopmeyer said, “without self-discipline, none of them work.”

According to Brian Tracy, “self-discipline is the key to personal greatness.  Without self discipline, a person with every blessing of background, education and opportunity will seldom rise above mediocrity.”  I shared in a previous post inspiration from Charles R. Swindoll in “Living Above the Level Of Mediocrity.”  A commitment to excellence is the driving force when pursuing the change.

If you have goals on hold, dreams that are fading, desires in your heart, or if you  have a vision of helping others, join my walk through the pages with Brian Tracy as we practice self-discipline in seven key areas of life.

“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.”....Jim Rohn
